Admission criteria for clubbing

For men:
Female companions always welcome!

Minimum age:

  • Thursday from 10 p.m.:
    Admission from 18 years of age
  • Friday & Saturday from 10 p.m.:
    Ladies from 21 years of age, gents from 23 years of age
  • On the remaining days, we have no age restrictions.

Admission fees

  • Friday: CHF 10.- or CHF 15.- per person
  • Saturday: CHF 20.- per person
  • Ladies aged 35 and over enjoy free admission on Fridays and Saturdays!
    (Exceptions reserved)

Booking regulations for lounges

  1. For lounge reservations, we ensure that at least 50% of the group are women.
  2. Our birthday packages can only be booked on Fridays.
  3. A reservation is only binding once the advance payment has been made via PayLink and we have received all the necessary information.
  4. You can cancel your party package free of charge up to 12 hours in advance (minus a processing fee of CHF 50).
  5. If you are running late, please notify us by phone. Otherwise, we will be forced to give the lounge to another group 30 minutes after the agreed time.

There is no official dress code during bar hours. However, we always welcome casual chic attire.

There is no minimum age requirement during bar hours. On Thursdays from 10:00 p.m. onwards, the minimum age for all visitors is 18. From Friday to Saturday from 10:00 p.m. onwards, different age restrictions apply: women must be at least 21 years old, while the minimum age for men is 23. On all other days, there is no age restriction for admission.

There is no cover charge during bar hours (exceptions apply). We only charge admission for our events on Fridays and Saturdays. On Fridays, the admission fee is CHF 10.- to CHF 15.- per person, while on Saturdays, admission costs CHF 20.- per person. Women aged 35 and over are admitted free of charge on both days (Friday and Saturday).

Yes, we ask our guests to dress appropriately to ensure a pleasant atmosphere for everyone. Casual chic is desirable. Sneakers and caps are permitted.

Guest lists are available in connection with lounge reservations. Ladies have the option of applying for a Ladies Club Card. Women aged 35 and over are granted free admission (exceptions apply).

For quick admission during clubbing, we recommend that you pay for admission and cloakroom services in cash at the entrance area. Upstairs, you can also conveniently pay by card. We accept Swiss francs and euros.

No, there is no cover charge for the bar. On Fridays and Saturdays, we switch to club mode at 10:00 p.m. (see also admission prices).

No, the entire Bar Rouge turns into a club on weekends from 10 p.m. onwards.

Yes, we offer a separate smoking room where you can smoke.

  • If you would like a seat during bar hours, we recommend making a simple reservation (no minimum consumption required).
  • If you would like a lounge for a party, we recommend one of our attractive party packages.
  • Of course, you can also just drop by without a reservation.

We recommend reserving a lounge with one of our attractive party packages. For groups of more than 15 guests, we will then put together a customized offer for you.

Security at the Bar Rouge

What fire safety standards apply at Bar Rouge?

Bar Rouge is located in the Messeturm, a high-rise building with strict legal safety and fire safety requirements. All safety-related facilities are regularly inspected and comply with official requirements.

What materials were used in the construction of the club?

All furniture and materials used comply with the prescribed flame-retardant fire safety classes. This has been checked and officially approved by the fire department. In addition, the building structures are mainly made of glass and concrete.

Does Bar Rouge have automatic safety systems?

Yes. The entire establishment is equipped with an automatic sprinkler system and has fire alarms that are directly connected to the fire department. This ensures an immediate response in an emergency.

How is evacuation safety ensured?

All emergency exits are freely accessible at all times and can be opened from the inside without exception. Regular internal and external checks ensure that escape routes are always clear and clearly marked.
